Attention Span

Many of the children that come to Brainchild have issues with attention span and concentrated listening. This usually relates to persisting reflexes on the upper back that should have faded into the background (known as integrated). Their persistence frequently relates to the child’s birth process. Caesarian, fast last stage , breech and assisted (forceps/ventouse) births commonly link with this problem. Other infant reflexes can contribute and make life even more difficult for your child.

If the reflex is present in the lower back also urine control can be problematic.
